SASSA Will Take Expert Services to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering expert services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it is alarmed regarding the substantial amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely website functional office devoted to service the area every day. The support level produced for intervention ordeals a superior inflow of probable beneficiaries, which makes it difficult for that Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.
